What txt-poll is

txt-poll sends short community polls about Newport Beach by text message and collects the answers through a personal web link. Taking part is voluntary.

Text messages

• Each text says who is sending it and includes a link to one poll.
• Message frequency varies, usually a few texts per poll. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your personal link

Your link is unique to the number it was sent to and your answers are linked to that number. Please don't share it. You can change answers until you submit; after that the link shows a thank-you page. Links stop working when a poll closes.

Fair use

Please answer honestly and only through your own link. Don't try to access other people's links, overload the service, or interfere with it. We may disregard answers that look automated or fraudulent.

Results

Poll results are informal community feedback, not a scientific survey or an official vote. Totals may be published or shared in a form that does not identify individuals. See the privacy policy for how your data is handled.

Independence

txt-poll is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of Newport Beach or any government agency.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. We may change or end it, or update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
